Own a Pest Control Franchise and Build Something That’s Actually Yours

The Pest Paisan – The Mosquito Guido ™ started with one guy, one truck, and a promise to treat customers right. We’re looking for people who want to build that same thing in their own communities, and do it their way.

PEST CONTROL FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITIES

Why Join Us?

We didn’t reinvent pest control. We just got tired of watching it done halfway — vague pricing, no follow-up, technicians who never explain what they’re doing. So we built it differently. Here’s what that means for you as an owner:

pest control franchise - 9

Work directly with the people who actually built this, not a corporate office that’s never touched a truck.

Get tools built to save you time and win trust faster, not bolted on software.

Run it from a home office. Less overhead, more stays in your pocket.

You will have a protected territory. We will not grant another MG/PP franchise in your territory.

Two ways to grow under one brand: pest control, plus mosquito and tick.

PEST CONTROL FRANCHISE MODEL

How Our Model Is Different

Giancarlo started The Pest Paisan – The Mosquito Guido ™ because he was tired of seeing pest control companies treat customers like a number. He built something else: real communication, real follow-through, and a system built to hold up as it grows. That’s what you’d be stepping into — not a franchise packet, an actual working business.

  • One brand, two businesses: everyday pest control and mosquito/tick abatement.
  • We answer, day or night. Customers remember who picked up.
  • Something comes back before the next visit? We’re out again, free.
  • Customers hear from us before, during, and after every visit.
  • Our pest control plans that flex to the customer, not one size fits all.
  • Get a training system built to scale, whether it’s one truck or ten.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?

We’re not hiring a resume. We’re looking for someone who shows up, does the work, and treats their customers like neighbors — because on Long Island, they usually are. Recent grads, former military, first responders, career changers — if you’re hands-on, dependable, and ready to build something real in your own community, we want to talk to you. (State licensing requirements apply.)

PEST CONTROL FRANCHISE FAQ

Questions You’re Probably Already Asking

None. You do not need a background in home services or pest management to get started. Many of our franchise owners come from completely different industries. Recent graduates, former military, first responders, and career changers have all built successful pest control businesses with us. We provide comprehensive training that covers pest control techniques, business operations, customer service, and everything you need before your first day on the job. Most pest control franchises require specific commercial pesticide applicator licenses, and we walk you through that entire licensing process as part of onboarding. State licensing requirements apply.

You get a proven business model that has already been field tested across Long Island, not a franchise packet written in a boardroom. That includes structured onboarding and ongoing training, operational tools and software to manage scheduling, routing, and billing, marketing support with resources and strategies for local lead generation, and direct access to the people who built this company. We also provide CRM systems to track leads and customer interactions, automated billing to improve cash flow from day one, and a training system built to scale whether you are running one truck or ten. Franchisors typically provide comprehensive training and operational support, and that is exactly what we deliver.

Our initial investment for a new territory ranges from $160,400 – $226,605 for start up. For a conversion of an existing pest control business, the range is $114,835 to $145,730. The initial franchise fee for a single territory is $49,500, and the minimum liquid capital required is approximately $50,000. Initial investments for pest control franchises typically range from $50,000 to over $250,000 depending on the brand and model. Our total investment range is competitive, and the full detail lives in the Franchise Disclosure Document. We are upfront about what it actually costs to open your doors.

We do not offer in-house financing, but many franchise owners use SBA loans, home equity lines, or third-party franchise lending to fund their initial investment. We can point you toward lenders who have worked with pest control franchise owners before.

Like most franchise businesses, there are ongoing royalty fees that are part of your franchise agreement. These are structured to keep the support, training, and brand resources running behind the scenes. Franchise agreements often include ongoing royalty fees that can impact profitability, so we are transparent about what those numbers look like before you sign anything. The specific fee structure is outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Document, and we walk through every line with you during discovery.

In your first three months, expect a minimum $15,000 Grand Opening push to get your name out in your territory. After that, it’s a minimum $45,000 a year in local marketing, including $2,000 a month in digital spend, plus a $3,300 monthly contribution to the national brand fund starting in month four. We’ll walk you through all of it — this isn’t something you’re expected to figure out alone.

The term of the franchise agreement, renewal options, and territory protection details are all covered in the Franchise Disclosure Document. We are happy to walk through the full terms during discovery so you know exactly what you are committing to and what protections are in place for you as a franchise owner. You will have a protected territory. We will not grant another MG/PP franchise in your territory.

Starting a pest control business from scratch means figuring out licensing, insurance, marketing, pricing, hiring, and operations on your own. The pest control industry is a fragmented market with many small operators, and most of them are learning expensive lessons in real time. With a pest control franchise, you get brand recognition that builds consumer trust quickly, a recurring revenue model that provides predictable cash flow, and a system that has already been tested. You also get ongoing training and support so you are not solving every problem alone. Over 85% of residential pest control revenue comes from recurring service agreements, and our business model is built around that from day one.

Bigger does not always mean better. With a larger national brand, you are one of hundreds of franchise owners competing for attention from a corporate office that has never touched a truck. With us, you work directly with the people who built this business. We answer the phone. We know the pest control services inside and out because we still perform them. The pest control franchise industry includes a lot of names, but not every franchisor offers the kind of hands-on, ongoing support that actually moves the needle for a new business. We also run two revenue streams under one brand, covering both general pest control and mosquito and tick abatement, which gives franchise owners more ways to grow in a growing market.

No. Our franchise training covers everything from pest control techniques to customer communication to daily business operations. Franchise training includes pest control methods, route-based service models, scheduling, and how to deliver excellent customer service that keeps customers coming back. Customer retention is a priority in pest control services, and our system is designed to help you build long-term relationships from your very first accounts. We provide a personal support structure that continues well past your launch day, so you are never left figuring things out alone.

We encourage you to compare. The pest control franchise industry includes established names across general pest control, mosquito control, and wildlife control. Some of the top pest control franchises you may come across include mosquito and tick focused brands, general pest management companies, and wildlife control operations. Each has a different business model, investment range, territory structure, and support system. What sets us apart is that our model is built on two revenue streams, recurring revenue from day one, and direct access to ownership. The U.S. pest control market is valued at over $29 billion, pest control industry demand is growing due to environmental health awareness, and the sector is considered recession resistant. You should look at the numbers, compare the franchise disclosure documents, and decide which franchise opportunity actually fits how you want to build your business.
